On June 8th, 2020, Komeroshi was launched, a small independent brand born in the province of Padua, Italy.
It all began with an idea from Dario Bellinato, an illustrator and graphic designer graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, specializing in Japanese illustration, mythology, and folklore, known by the artistic name Inkhand.

THE COLD WIND THAT ANNOUNCES THE ARRIVAL OF WINTER.
On one hand, it represents the opportunity to create something new—a breath of fresh air. On the other, it is a clear reference to the environmental challenges caused by climate change.
Inspired by this concept, Dario designed a logo that embodies the meaning of Komeroshi. The final design combines a wolf and a fox into a single face—two animals deeply rooted in Japanese folklore. Stylized whiskers were added to symbolize the gusts of the cold winter wind.
